Welcome,
I’m Zoe - a voice practitioner and spoken voice, singing, and accent coach based in London. I believe that we can create and express so much through voice, and I would love to help you explore these possibilities.
I am always open to collaborating.
I was born and raised in Singapore, have roots on the East Coast of the United States, and am currently based in London. I would describe my accent as a ‘chapalang’ (mix) of all the places I’ve lived.
I have an MFA in Voice Studies from the Central School of Speech and Drama, and am a graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (New York)'s Musical Theater conservatory programme, where I first fell in love with voice work.
I have been an actor, singer and theatre-maker for over a decade, having worked with New Earth Theatre, The Flea, the National Asian Artists Project, Netflix, and more. As an artist, I’m exploring vocal multiplicity, intervocalic creation, and the secrets of the collective unconscious. A loop station is my current favorite medium. My research focuses on biophilic approaches to voice work as a means to repair colonial and capitalist harm.
I was raised by two teachers, and I absolutely love teaching - it is in my bones. As an educator, I am committed to creating inclusivity, equity and accessibility in the arts.
My name is pronounced [zoʊĭ t͡s̬ɨmɪn hoʊ]!
-
I work with production companies, directors, and actors to provide accent and voice support for stage, screen, and voiceover. I provide theatre companies with assistance on text work, vocal health, vocal extremes, accents/dialects, vocal composition, and more.
-
I coach individuals in singing, accents and dialects, practical voice skills, text work, audition and performance prep, and more. My approach to teaching voice is somatic and client-centered. I provide individual and small group voice coaching, in-person in London and online.

I am always open to collaborating across all mediums of art. I am a voice practitioner, actor, singer, mover, director, deviser, and more. Let’s work together!

What people have to say:
“Working with Zoe, you quickly become aware of your full potential. She brings a wide range of toolkits to her coaching, and what makes her truly reliable is creating a safe and supportive space. She never pushes you too far, ensuring that both your body and mind are taken care of—even when you're feeling nervous about an audition or performance.”
Shogo Amo (Actor/Director)
“I love Zoe! Working with her was wonderful and kind and gentle and exactly what I needed for working through the text. She asked very interesting questions about my relationship with breathing which I loved.”
Performer, Off the Ground for Bold Mellon Collective
“Working with Zoe on my play ‘Love You More’ was an absolutely delightful experience. I can’t deny the wonderful impact Zoe had on our characters and the theatricality of the show as a whole. Zoe helped the cast and I find our voices throughout the rehearsal process so we felt confident and comfortable when show week arrived.
Zoe’s use of various exercises, thorough explanation of the how and why, and educated understanding of voice work and accent is absolutely brilliant.
I would not hesitate to work with Zoe again and look forward to when that occasion arrives!”
Sarah O’dell (Actor/Playwright)
“Zoe is the most wonderful, thoughtful, and delightful voice coach I’ve met in the UK, especially for me as an ESEA professional performing in English as a second language.
Zoe always encourages and guides me to use my own voice, both in a practical and deeply personal sense. I still use the warm-up techniques, accent articulation, and singing exercises Zoe taught me! These methods continue to support my work and confidence as a migrant performer.”
